Here are two sample pictures from a C-3000Z. Exposure compensation of -0.7 EV was used in both cases to increase color saturation and to protect the highlights.
The full-frame images on the left were re-sharpened after reduction, while the cropped 320x240 fragments on the right did not undergo any postprocessing (saved at minimum JPEG compression, to avoid introducing of any artifacts).
